My son turned six in October and he got Spike the Ultra Dinosaur for Christmas and loves it! He and our 3 year old daughter play with Spike almost every day.

My son who will be 3 in March got this for christmas and he was a little afraid of it, but we told him that spike only does stuff when you push the buttons and he just loves it now. His cousin who will be 6 next week was over and he loves it! If your child likes dinsoaurs and remote control things he will definitly like this toy!!

No. The remotes are on the same frequency and there is no way to change it.

I seriously would only buy one. Dino the dinosaur is no inexpensive toy. I have a 3 year old daughter and a one year old boy. They both play with this toy together. Seriously, with twin four year olds, the problem of buying two dinosaurs may be, there will be a difficulty differentiating whose dinosaur is whose, and you may encounter the always prevalent problem of dinosaur wars with two dinosaurs of the same make. Something to think about. If you have already acquired two, enjoy!

Does Spike walk well over wall to wall carpeting? Does he slip while walking on tile flooring? And how far does he walk when you push his walk button? Thanks

Spike walks well on vinyl or hardwood floors. He also walks well on Berber carpeting. We don't have plush carpet so I don't know if he walks well on that variety. Depending on what controls you push, and Spike's mood, he will walk different distances each time he's played with. I've had no problems with Spikes legs or walking abilities since our son got him for Christmas. Our kid's love Spike!

Spike seems to walk better on carpeting than on tile flooring, though he's perfectly capable of moving on both. His movements are kind of jerky, and he's pretty slow. If you were to just push the walk button real quick he really wouldn't go anywhere, you have to hold the walk button down to get him to move a decent distance.

You plug the battery pack into the charger cord, that comes with Spike, then plug it into a standard outlet. When our children run the battery pack completely dead it takes four hours for it to recharge completely.

They have a charger that comes with Spkie. You just take out the battery pack from spike and plug it into into the charger.
