I looked on the fisher price website and they have a "on the go" attachment set that comes with Headphones, DC adapter and a few other things

The player itself only has one plug, but if you buy the "on the go travel kit" it has an adapter plug that allows you to plug in two sets of headphones.

It has a car charger available, but you have to either buy this bundle pack offered by Walmart that has the car charger and carrying case or you need to purchase it separately.

The volume is fine, but if you're traveling I would recommend head phones that way you can pay attention to the road.

There are no straps that come with the product, but you can buy an strap and attach to the head rest in front of the child.

The instruction manual says "enhanced dvd's or cd's may not work with this player. Use only purchased dvds or cds". However, a friend of mine did burn some dvd's for my son off of her computer that she had downloaded (various Disney movies) and these DO play :)
