The Give Me Five Sports Station features five of kids' favorite sports: basketball, football, soccer, baseball and hockey. Kids can quickly and easily move from sport to sport whenever they want. The four-position height-adjustable backboard lets you raise the rim from 4 1/2 to 6 feet high for basketball, with a wide goal for soccer and hockey play. The Sports Station also features a baseball pitchback that lets them practice throwing, catching and fielding.

Is the basketball hoop compatible with a standard basketball?

A standard Bball fits in the hoop but makes the rim fall down most of the time so if you use one, you'll be spending lots of time putting the rim back up.

Yes, I think it does. Remember this is smaller then if you bought a throw back by itself but for introducing kids to throwing the ball at a target (it has a squre on it) and the ball coming back it works great. My son enjoyed it.
