It rolls on my short pile carpet pretty well-not sure on longer piled carpet though. I think he'd roll well on berber too! It rolls MUCH better on our linoleum and tiled flooring.

Yes, it easily rolls on carpet. We just got it but so far it is a big hit!

my son has played with this everyday for long lengths of time since christmas morning(6 days ago). The batteries are still going strong.

Does the mini (9-inch) tri-bot talk?
The packaging for the mini 9 inch tri-bot reads

"Tri-bot, the innovative talking personality-packed companion who's more than your average robot, is now available as a 9 inches tall, battery operated Mini Tri-bot toy.

But i can't imagine he talks for 14.99 and doesn't seem to talk when batteries are installed.

The mini version does not talk right?
