Yes, it is specifically designed for sealing raw meats before freezing them.
I have never tried liquids but I think you would have to freeze the liquid first. I cannot see how you can seal a liquid without freezing it first.

yes it sure can..it can seal anything that will fit into the bag you make..which are pretty big...

Not with the space saver model. The gamesaver pro plus has a "non-crush" option for delicate products.

I've used my food saver to freeze stews, soups, chili etc. I prefreezed or let thickened enough in a large plastic contain IE. butter container and after it thickened or completly froze tranfered to bags and sealed them it works great so far.
