It's a great tasting oil but why would you use it on your hair? It's for eating and your body needs it. I mix it with red wine vinegar and use on salads. I'm losing weight fast.

We always recommend that our olive oil be stored at room temperature. This recommendation holds true for the majority of olive oil manufacturers, no matter the form (Extra Virgin, Pure, Light).

Olive Oils are clear at room temperature and become cloudy at approximately 62 degrees Fahrenheit. The natural fatty acids in the oil will precipitate out of solution at the cooler temperatures and often will turn cloudy. The need to refrigerate olive oil is not necessary in part due to the fact that olive oil is an inhospitable medium for microbial growth.

Question

why isnt there an expiration date?

i just bought the oil at my local walmart store. I have heard that this oil is a high quality extra virgin oil, and it was so cheap!

my question is, why isnt there an expiation date? i notice my bottle looks a little different than the one pictured here and worried its an old labeled one.

mine has a green cap as opposed to gold lie pictured above.

also why do you guys use oil from argentina? isnt that low quality? italy makes the best.

thanks dave.

The olives originate from Spain, Greece, Italy and Tunisia. The olives are pressed in their country of origin and the oil is transported to Spain where our factory tests the oil for chemical and organoleptic characteristics. After our laboratory confirms the quality and taste profile is acceptable and meets all regulatory requirements and quality requirements, the oils are blended in Spain to meet the finished product flavor profile and chemical components. The blended oil is then filled into bottles in Spain and imported to the US.
