26 grams of protein in each scoop. I take a heaping scoop with 1 cup of 1% milk. It equals approx 40 grams of protein (milk and mix combined) and only 6% of your daily carb allowance.

No. It does contain a soy ingredient, though. 26 grams of protein per serving and a person would usually take two servings at once.

I do not see Wheat listed anywhere on the container. It says it contains milk and soy ingredients. If your serving size is one scoop in 6-8 ounces of liquid, there is 26 grams of protein. If your serving size is 2 scoops [which is recommended for "serious athletes and bodybuilders (over 125 pounds)"..."immediately after exercise"], there is 52g of protein.

Over a year ago Body Fortress changed the nutritional content label of the product. There was a change from 110 calories/serving to 130 calories/serving and some other changes. When I saw this I called the 800 number on the bottle and talked to a couple customer care reps.

They informed me that the nutritional content labels had initially been incorrect and the new 130 calorie labels were more correct.

I assume the discrepancies that you are seeing are due to this.

For possible allergens, the ingredients state "Contains milk and soy ingredients."
It does not state pork products directly, although the ingredients list is attached as an image so you may check through yourself to verify.

It has creatine which is naturally occuring in all meat. I honestly have no idea if it's synthetic creatine or if it's been derived from an animal. The amino acids it has are the same way. Could be synthetic or could be animal derived. I would guess it's all synthetic, but I have no clear answer for you. If you want a 100% beef protein powder, try Carnivor.

Question

Would mixing the powder with soy milk give it to much sugar?

I used whey protein powder before. And I always found it to be way too sweet when mixed with fat free milk. If I use soy milk, and flaxseed instead would that be too much sugar?

The ingredients list is attached as an image so you may verify. I have mixed it with unsweetened almond milk (unsweetened almond milk alone is VERY bland) and I have noticed I've needed to add stevia as a sweetener, as it was too bland. With whole milk, it was drinkable.

It would depend on the type of soymilk you use. I use a very low carb one and I am a diabetic so I have to watch my sugars. This product has 8 grams of carbs (3 grams of sugar) per 2 scoops (reccomended serving size)which is pretty good. If you really are worried about sugar content, mix it with water...or....use a surgar free drink mix like Crystal Light to add to your protein powder....say like cherry flavor mixed with chocolate powder...yummy!

I am lactose intolerant so I mix this with the light soy milk and I do not find this too sweet at all. I also like to let it sit in the freezer for a little bit and it makes it slushy and really good. The gritty texture some people complain about is totally gone by then. Try the strawberry or vanilla and you can mix it with frozen fruit in a blender, semi-freeze it and it is excellent. As far as the flaxseed, I am not sure. Flaxseed can sometimes make a drink thicker. I do use it in my Greek yogurt. Excellent!
