Yes, I connect my 15 inch flat screen TV and the DVD's come out in color and the regular karaoke music lyrics come out bigger than the small screen that is provided. You can use any CDs to sing along, but you need CD=G which are karaoke CDs if you want the lyrics to be displayed, and you can find those and order them off the internet

Yes, but one mic plugs in directly and it works good, the other one is wireless and doesn't work as well. So I would just buy another plug in mic like at radio shack or somewhere like that, that way you have two mics for two or more singers. The machine was easy to put together and it a lot of fun, you can even put DVDs in there

I'm not sure if I know the answer to your question, but I do know that I can turn the knob manually to adjust the volume and that will determine how loud you sound and how loud the music is. I will read up on it and get u another answer soon

You can output to a DVD/writer via connections in the back. It could be in a PC or a stand-alone recorder. If all you wanted was audio that could be outputed to a plain cd\writer.

There is no place to plug in your ipod. You most definetly want to hook it up to a TV right away! That's what brings it all to life.
