They do take some getting used to since you lose your depth perception and the image is magnified a bit by the goggles, however after extedned wear you get used to moving with them on. I haven't experienced any headaches or eye strain after wearing them. I do wear contacts and haven't noticed any problems realting to long term wear and my vision.
