Could have been a typo at the time - right now it says there are 25 diamonds in the set. The only other "2" is listed in the clarity rating as an I2, which means "included at least two times in the stone." "Included" or "inclusion" is an indication of some sort of flaw, speck of carbon, feathering or other imperfection, which is inherent in most diamonds. It's generally visible only with 10X magnification, unless it's a black carbon spot, which may be visible on casual glance, but not likely. Most of the time it's not really noticeable by the naked eye. A truly flawless stone is very rare and exceptionally expensive.....

There is more than two diamonds...in the band there is 10..in the engagment ring there is 8 on band and 7 in the middle kind of like a flower. Not sure if that helps but its a really pretty ring I was bought by my husband for me just 1wk ago! I love it!
