I wish I knew as we have always used an electric blanket for our bed. I know that they don't recommend it for other foam beds, but I think since this has a mesh cover and ours is under a sheet, I feel that it's going to be fine. Being in Fl. haven't had to need to use one yet, but will keep checking back to see if one of us find out?

You could go directly to Canopy's site and you can reach them and ask them directly. I just haven't done that yet.

I've noticed that all foam bedding items have a strong smell when they first come out of the package. I hung my canopy topper over the stair railing for three days before using it, and the smell dissipated. If you put it on your bed immediately it may not have had a chance to air out.

You can rent a steam cleaner, but that's a hassel. I recommend taking it to a dry cleaner if it really needs to be cleaned. Then put a cover on it so you don't have to deal with that again.

How long have you had this product? It does take some time to stretch to it's full size. Also did you lay it flat for a few hours when you first brought it home? I recommend just giving it some more time. The more you use it the more it will stretch. Also to reduce the gap you can put a cheap mattress pad\cover over it. Mine still is about an inch off, but once I put the cover over it and the mattress, I can't tell any difference.
