it makes a semi auto fire like an auto,
in turn a fully auto will fire slower lie you are pulling the trigger one shot at a time

Yes, we have two and they work on two separate PS3's and when we play together on one unit they can be assigned to controller 1 or 2. So buy it, it works and is a great controller.
