answer 5
It works on any device that plugs into an outlet. The Clapper goes between the appliance's plug and the outlet. So The Clapper won't work with the ceiling light unless you have it connected to a wall outlet

answer 1
Yes. You would have an electrician wire an outlet to the switch and then plug the clapper/light into the outlet.

answer 2
Not really.

answer 3
It would work but you would have to get creative and probably involve an electrician. It is probably not worth it. You would have to modify the electrical circuit powering the overhead light so that the light plugged into an outlet. Then the light would be plugged into a Clapper and the Clapper plugged into the outlet. Much easier to add a floor lamps that is plugged into a Clapper.

Yes it does. Just plug the TV into it. Remember though, sometimes a cough or sneeze could activate it though so you'll want to adjust the settings.

It stays on 10 minutes after the last sound is detected. More sounds only reset the 10 minute timer and cause it to stay on longer.
answered 1 year, 6 months ago
By
TheLightningStalker
answer 2
What you are doing is breaking or activating the connection to the power. You have to clap twice for the unit to allow power to the device. It will stay on until you clap twice to de-activate it (break the power connection).
