Max weight?

I have looked at this play yard on SEVERAL websites and NONE of them list the MAX weight for the baby! What is the max weight for a child using this play yard? I have a large 4 month old and trying to find a play yard with a larger max weight than 30lbs! THANKS!!!

I think this one is good my son and my wife both get in there together it's around 180 together hold up perfectly good

The limits are 35" height and 30lbs. I'm kinda shocked it isn't more, because it's so much stronger than others I've seen!

bed bath and beyond lists it for kids under 35" and 50lbs. but always best to call the manufacturer direct.

On the manufacturer website it says to discontinue when your child can climb out. nothing on weight. so i do not see weight limit as a problem with buying this.

I just got this for my daughter. She is 7 months old and in the 75% for her weight. I was also looking for one without a 30 lb weight limit. This one is made of that very sturdy luggage material and is well built and still easy to put up. I use it daily and have no worries of it not holding up.

The product manual does not give a max weight but a max height of 35 inches or when child is able to climb out of the play yard.

Not a mattress per se, but really great padding. You can't feel the bars through it, and there's a fitted sheet you can put over the padding.

pack n plays don't come with mattresses. the bottom pad is what wraps around the whole thing when it's folded up. i own a children's consignment shop and have witnessed some real thin, cheap ones, but not with this joovy. the pad is very thick and very comfy. when it's installed, you can't feel the support bars through it.

There's a new plastic chemical odor when you open the box. It's not as bad or as strong as the comments suggest. After constructing it and letting it sit a while it was gone. All new playpens have an odor, this one does too, but it's still the best buy on the market.

yes, but that 'nasty' odor is the smell of the newness of the material they use to make it. i left it open for a few days, sprayed it with fabreeze and it was gone.

I do My wife gets in there sometimes and lays with my son or plays sometimes when he's cranky and she says its very comfortable we also have a special made mattress but it hold both of them pretty sturdy

Absolutely! My 14 month old destroyed his last one, which is why I decided I needed to bite the bullet and get him one that was stronger even if it cost more. His last one wasn't cheap, but this is constructed so much better! Plus since he's getting older space was important to me too and there's plenty of room.

I'm not sure exactly, but it comes with a carrying case, and they ship it broken down in it. So it's not a wide box like a lot of other playpens, just as big as carrying it in the case.
