This cover prevents from bedgugs and all other bugs comming in or out matresses. It is kind pf expensive for the material, but considering that it will keep all these nasty bugs away from mattresses is a good investment. Note that they come a little big for the mattresses so you might have to tug in some material between the two matresses. I have all my matresses covered.

On their website, cleanrest.com, they say that their mattress and pillow covers are made of very tightly woven, yet breathable, 100% polyester, and they do claim that because it is so tightly woven and zippered that it blocks not just dust and allergens but also bedbugs. Since I have both the mattress and pillow covers, I think they would actually block bedbugs. But I also have to add that I have a fear of bugs and if I knew my mattress had bedbugs, I would throw it away, then put a Cleanrest cover on my new mattress.

Yes you can, jsut make sure you get the right size. I have all my twin matresses and boxsprings covered. Since they come kind of big you might have to tug in the excess.

This may fit a dorm bed in twin size, it's pretty big. There's extra material all around it, enough that I have to tuck it under the bed.
