The back appears to just be a thick cardboard. Flimsy... it's ok. Durable...it's not. If you're expecting it to hold weight it won't. It is just there as a cosmetic backing to the cabinet.

Yes, there are extra holes cut to adjust the shelves, so if you went and had one cut (at Lowes, Home Depot, etc) and got more of those little hooks to hold the shelf, you could easily fit in two more.

After assembling my shelving, I don't recommend even attmpting this. The fixed shelf is the division between the small doors and the large doors. If you were even able to switch them, I'm sure that it wouild be too top heavy to be safe.

Given the way they have got the holes, it is not possible to reverse the doors. The only way you can do that would be to keep the cupboard upside down.

No..there is one stationary shelf between the two sections and the predrilling & hinge placement prevents this from working.
answered 4 years, 2 months ago

answer 8
Not using their predrilled holes--you would have to predrill some new holes for the new door locations. I would not recommend that as I had to drill the door holes for the hinges, and I had all kinds of problems lining them up.

Yes. The way they are hinged allows them to open inside of the side panels. If two cupboards are placed next to each other, the only issue would be if both adjacent doors were open at the same time, the handles might hit.
