The see saw is very low to the ground. You might be able to safely prop it up a little, but there are no adjustments included to do this. It would hold 6-7 year olds, but I'm not sure they'd be able to go up very high since it is so low to the ground. I think the swingset is probably a little too small for a 10 year old, unless he/she is small for his/her size.

Can I leave out the see-saw while setting it up?

I only have 16' to put this in my yard. I see that it says that you need close to 18'. Is it possible to set up with out the see saw, and will it give me the 2 extra feet I need?
Thanks!

The see saw does not take up that much room. The see saw adds not only value to the swing, but allows for an additional two kids to play.

It's poorly made and takes a long time to put together and most likely to take down also. Many, many bolts and vague dirsections!

answer 4
No harder taking down as when putting it up. Took my husband approximately 2-3 hours to put together (he would work on it a while and stop to do other stuff) Make sure to separate and bag screws/nuts/bolts. If you are not moving far, put it in the back of a trailer and tie it down to move it.

answer 5
Take it down in the reverse order that you put it up.
If you used concrete to stablize the legs, you will have to dig the whole unit out of the ground to remove the legs. Dig another hole at the new site and reset the concrete legs in dirt. Pack the dirt in well and the legs will settle firmly after a short period of time.

answer 6
No! The bolts are usually rusty after a few months and would be hard to take apart. However, when we moved half way across the country in April, we carried our swingset into the back of the moving truck and took it to a cousin's house for them to enjoy before loading up our moving truck.

We are renting but just bought a new swingset. When we buy a house and move again, it will be locally so we plan on moving the new swingset assembled again.

i wouldn't put it on cement unless anchored down. we have ours on flat dirt. before we anchored it we let our 5 year old swing on the see saw end and it would lift up off the ground. so we definately anchored it. you would have to drill atleast little holes for the anchor stakes that come with the set.

Hi, I would not suggest this for concrete, you need to be able to anchor the poles into the ground and also the teeter totter pole has to be buried to anchor.

ours came with 4sets, take the silver cable looking things, and the little silver things with two holes in it, then you will have four little stake looking tubes with a hole in it. on each outside leg run the silver cable thru the leg, thread little 2 hole thingy thru it, pound steak at slight angle, thread cable thru, pull tight, then with pliers smash little sliver thing on cable, It will make a loop thru leg and stake, pullstake out taunt, drive in ground at slight angle, adjust as needed. repeat for other legs.

answer 2
Put the cable through the hole in the leg and through the anchor.

We recommend that you dig a hole and fill with a concrete form and quickcrete and the anchor to make sure everything stays grounded. It will take quickcrete about 40 mins to fully set.

Anchor goes behind the leg. We did this for all 6 of the support legs even though they give you anchors for only 4. You can make the same thing with stuff fomr Home Depot.

We recently got this set, and yes, the foot swing it also made to be a sitting swing. Can be used either way. The trapeese bar may be able to be used for a baby swing but you need to get longer chains. It is set up the same as the swings.

Absolutley. I replaced one of the swings for a baby swing. Install the swing top screws and brackets but just dont hook on the seat and chain. I bought a different toddler swing (pink) from walmart a year ago and just hooked it on to the hardware on the set. now i can inter change what i want. P.S. you can get seats from anywhere even yard sales, just make sure that hooks are secure for weight of child and type of use. As far as the foot swing, yes it is also ment for small booties as well. I tried to sit down on each of the swing seats to feel the security (i am 165lbs & 5'8") and they were great as far as strength but the width of my rear end was not small enough since it is meant for children. Strong set though.
