The netting comes loose and needs to be reattached frequently.

Yes it does include ~5"-6" ball. We also purchased other 6" balls for our other two boys to all play at the same time. They work great. (The net falls off, but who cares), if this can withstand 3 boys...I'll take it. :~) Good luck!

THE BALL IS OF A SMALLER SIZE AND IS RUBBER. IT BOUNCES VERY GOOD AND IS PERFECT GIVEN THE MAKE OF THE HOOP AND ITS SIZE. YOU CAN EITHER FILL THE BASE WITH SAND OR WATER TO WEIGH IT DOWN AND IN DOING SO, IT WILL NOT TIP.
