Question
What type of resistance - magnetic?
Does this bike use magnetic resistance? Also does it have the capability of a "power cord" rather than batteries? Does the display have a back light in case of a room that does not have good lighting?

If I have it shipped to store do they assemble it if asked?

My store was able to assemble it, although if your store doesn't...... it seems relatively easy. I don't know about the resistance type, but it does not have a power cord or back light on it. What you see in the picture is exactly what you get and what comes with it pretty much. Don't be afraid if you don't have tools because it does come with a small hand tool to help with assembly.

Question
How many resistance levels does the bike have?
Is the highest resistance level too difficult to start off at? I am looking for a bike where I can start off at a lower resistance and then work my way up to the highest resistance level over time. I'm not looking for a bike where I can start off at the highest resistance level. I am trying to get back in shape after having a baby.

This bike starts off at NO resistance. It would be perfect for someone just starting to exercise.
