It doesn't come with a memory card. I bought a 2GB card separately. I don't remember the price, but I remember it wasn't pricey.

You can use any AA batteries, but keep in mind that the cheaper the battery, the shorter the camera life. If you aren't wanting to use rechargeable batteries than at least try to get ones that are made just for digital cameras.

You need a card reader to upload your pictures. You don't need to attach your camera to your computer. Buy an SD card reader.
