I don't particularly know the difference, but I have an Kodak 8.2 megapixel camera and it does the " " shake stop, but the pictures from that mode, do not come out near as good as the Kodak 10.2 megapixel camera. The still shots, what on the camera, is referred to as "sport" pictures, do reduce image movement, which it does exellent. But also has a blur reduction, but between the "sport" setting and the blur reduction setting on this camera is no difference. Great stop action in either case. I can take a picture of my ceiling fan going full speed, take a picture of it, and get a photo of a fan that looks like it's off !!!!!
