My son is 11 and he is probably the biggest you would want to be, I can ride it and it still pulls my 180 lbs around. Seat height may be awkward but he loves it.

No, I got one for my 8 year old, he is 4' 8" and weighs 80 lbs and rides it just fine. It is a tad small for him but nothing major, I would buy it again for him because it goes faster than most battery powered ride ons and he would be bored with the speed of regular ride ons.

Question

My daughter loves quads and is turning 4. She wighs about 40 pounds and saw this in the store and loved it.

I'm afraid this may be a little too much for her. Is this product appropriate for a 4 year old?

A lot depends on her size. My 5 1/2 yr old grandson has a little trouble getting his hand around the brake. This quad will go approx 10 mph. I would say it would depend on her maturity and ability. Ive seen 4 yr. olds more mature than 8 yr olds. You will pretty much have to be the judge.

My 4.5 year old grandson rides it with absolutely no problems at all. He did have a previous ride-on toy however. The previous one went a max of 5mph. The QUAD goes 8mph, although it seems a bit faster than that. Depending on her level of maturity, it might be better to start her with one that goes slower. Hope this helps.

Yes, my 8 year old son and 6 year old sister ride on it together all the time. My 8 year old is tall and weighs around 80 lbs, the 6 year old weighs 45-50 lbs and it runs just fine with both of them, so it can handle some weight.

Yes 2 smaller kids could, depends on the weight of the 2, it accepts weights up to 120, keep in mind the heavier the weight the slower it will go! There is room for 2.

Not that we have found and it goes quite fast. We were very surprised when we bought it for our seven year old grandaughter. She is able to handle it and luckily we have a large yard or she would be in the street in a minute. Helmets are a must as well as supervision.

About 6mph on rough ground. You need to jog to keep up with this.

answer 4
I'm not sure about mph, but I would say it goes about as fast as a child would regularly ride a bicycle, at a good pace. I'm about like the average couch potato in terms of fitness and I can easily run alongside most battery operated ride ons, but I cant keep up with the razor, if that helps any. I was concerned with the speed of it for my kids, but it is a good speed, fast enough to keep older kids interested, like 8-10, but not so fast that its dangerous. I would recommend it for kids between the ages of 5-10.

answer 5
It started out at 8 miles per hour which is quick for little people. But it quickly slows down to about 6-5 miles per hour. Still quick enough to keep the kids happy and not so fast that I have a panic attack each time it's ridden.
answered 3 years, 7 months ago
By
TRadle
 - San Antonio
answer 6
About as fast as you can speed walk, just before doing a slow jog. Probably about 10 miles an hour. Not so fast that your kids will leave you in their dust laughing at you while you're trying to chase them down :)
