On the handle bar, (right side). it takes the thumb and pointer fingers to turn it in a ccw direction and ones wrist will tire if you try to maintain top speed.

I would not recommend this until the child has learned to ride a bicycle without training wheels, also, remember the recommended age is 12 years and older.

Remember the recommended age is 12 yrs.+. The throttle is a variable speed device on the handle bar and the operator can throttle back by not twisting it so far. The throttle is also spring loaded so that if you relax your grip the motor will coast to a stop.

Sort of. You need to put on the front tire and inflate it and put on the handlebars. I also had to adjust the brake lever for my daughter because it was hard for her to reach

it takes 2 12 volt batteries--but i am having a hard time trying to find some batteries because my daughters scooters batteries are ruined and i am trying to replace them.
