How many hours I have to leave the camera charging si I can use it for the first time?
The camera works fine when is charging, but is being like that for the last 12 hours and still doesn't work when is not connected to the plug.

I had the same problem and tried turning the battery around. You could try taking out the battery and flipping it over and hopefully that would take care of it.
