yes, it says it is. I washed it in Dreft, as I do all the baby stuff, in like colors and dried it on gentle tumble. Came out great! I recommend to attach the velcro bits together, so it doesn't get stuck on anything else and cause fraying.

Yes, it does come off, and washes up nicely. I was concerned the cover wouldn't fit right after washing it...but if you follow the directions you shouldn't have a problem. I suggest letting it hang dry and then throwing it in the dryer for a couple of minutes to get any wrinkles out and soften it up... ;) Hope that helps!

I purchased this for my 4 month old granddaughter to aid her with sitting. She seems to like laying over it on her tummy playing with her toys. She uses this at least every other day. If you want it just for a sitting aid, putting bed pillows around her would work just as well, but as a play aid, I/she loves it. She also enjoys laying on it, propped up watching tv.

My baby is 7 weeks old and is the same way; he loves to sit up "like a big boy" but he can't quite do it by himself yet. He's even propping himself up on his elbows with the aid of the Cuddle-U pillow.

I imagine that he will be using this pillow for several more weeks. It will aid him in learning to sit up on his own.

He absolutely loves it! We use it multiple time every day.

answer 10
I used this nursing pillow from birth to 6-7 months when my son started to crawl & was weaned. I really enjoyed the "harness" feature, as it did keep him from falling forward when he could not sit up by himself. He could still fall backward and to the sides, and the pillow kept him protected, but he obviously could not right himself after falling. So sometimes I would prop other blankets/pillows under the Cuddle-U to make it more like a really plush bumbo? :)
Also loved it for nursing and pre-fastened the harness portion when he was a newborn and laid him on top of it so he didn't fall so far down into the middle of the pillow.

The cover is not stretchy. It has a folded over flap that you slide the pillow into that holds the cover tightly to the pillow. The seat attachment is velcro (adjustable for your growing baby), but the actual mechanism to keep the cover on the pillow is not.

It reminds me of how a pillow sham fits and stays on. It has little over lapping flaps on the underside, so there for the pillow has to be pulled out in order for it to be removed...like a pillow in your pillow sham.

Neither. The cover has a hole that the pillow fits through. It is kind of like a pillow case. There is velcro on it to attach the straps that hold the baby in it.

Yes! Yes! Yes! This was the best Discovery for me! I have a fleece boppy cover from about four years ago and a "luxury" cover that is a super soft material on one side, anyway, they both fit so I just ordered a ton of covers by boppy for mine. (I have three young messy eaters that use these pillows and I'm a clean conscious mom)

I would almost have to think, probably not. a "boppy" is a little bit more firm, this pillow is not. This pillow also has a bit of a contour cut out shape, toward the opening, the "boppy" does not. The best bet, try to see if a boppy cover fits, but not, return it.

Mine is about a year old and it is showing a little bit of flattening where my kids heads lie, but it is still pretty fluffy. I put a boppy cover on it and it firmed it up a bit, but like any other pillow, they only last so long and would need replacing. Five years was a good long life for a pillow.

Im not quite sure that you use the strap part for teaching how to sit up. The way that it comes out of the pillow would be a little awkward to strap on the baby and try and sit. I think its mainly for when they are laying down on the pillow. I could be wrong.

Dont think its really to help teach your baby to sit up, but to keep your baby from wiggling down and suffocating in the pillow

the seat strap is not meant to teach your baby to sit up only to hold infants in place to keep them from wiggling out of the product.

answer 4
It doesn't teach your baby to sit up, it holds him in place so he doesn't slide down. The strap goes between his legs and fastens on both sides w/velcro. You can adjust how tightly you want him secured. It works well.
