No, it does not come with headphones. You can get some for about $16 dollars. I purchased the Sony- Studio Monitor Series, MDPV150. Love these earphones, small enough to fit my toddler and large enough to fit my husband.

Yes. If the DVD has CC you go to the menu and enable it. It will then show up on the screen just as it does on a home system.

Yes it has both. Push STOP once when watching a DVD, then shut the unit off. When you turn the unit back on, it will resume the movie where it left off.

There is no kit to attach it to the headrest, but it does come with both an a/c adaptor and car charger. Walmart does sell a generic kit that works well.

I'm almost positive you can. I know you can hook the player up to a TV and watch "big screen" in your home. I would suggest you call Sony and get the answer right from them.
