The Weed Eater Twist 'N Edge cordless string trimmer is actually two tools in one. Just press a button and flip the lower portion of the unit over and it converts to an edger. Edging is easy thanks to a built-in edger guide wheel that provides extra stability.

What is the weight of this trimmer while in use?

I am no expert... but, the weight of the edger in its packaging is 14 lbs. I would think that it be weighing in the neighborhood of 12 lbs in it's usable state. The box doesn't weigh much at all.
