Yes, you will still need a digital converter (tuner) box for your TV, if it's older and doesn't have a digital tuner. You will need to mount your antenna, connect it to the digital tuner box, and then connect the digital tuner to your television set.
By the way, keep in mind that there is no such thing as a "digital" antenna; all antennas will receive both digital and analog signals. I only mention this because many manufacturers like to market their new antennas as "digital-TV ready." (Guess what? Grandma's old rabbit-ears are digital-ready, too!)
