Yes, it can! And since I started using it in the laundry there is no more stinky smell that is common in front loading machines. Toss 1/4-1/2 cup on top of the clothes and use your laundry detergent as usual.

Borax does not have a sudsing action. So it should be of great use.

At the laundry mat I use it in the double loaders. About a quarter of a cup is sufficient.

I would not, it can be drying to the skin.

But you can sprinkle it lightly in the carpet and their bedding, the furniture, let it sit and it will help to kill fleas, larvae, and discourage ants.

answer 5
it's not harmful to skin as an irritant, but could be absorbed into the body in greater amounts during bath.
Since it is an inorganic salt, probably don't want to bath a pet in it.

But great for sprinkling around pet locations and outside to control fleas. and ants.

The best way to kill fleas by shampoo is to use Dawn dish soap. suds them up real good and leave it on for a couple minutes then rinse well. Don't get it in their eyes, it burns like crazy!

Instead of a shampoo, you should rub the powder into their fur, because wetting the powder dissolves the crystals that kill fleas. My dog loved it when I rubbed him with it!

Borax will dehydrate larvae and eventually kill fleas.

You have to leave it in the carpet at least 48 hours. Vacuum and reapply.

I leave it for the week to get walked into the carpet. Then vacuum. Keeps my room smelling clean and the vacuum smells good when I vacuum.

Yes. Sprinkle around and in bedding. (i'ts an inorganic salt. think of it as such)

Don't raise a dust with it, it's like any dust out there, not nice to inhale.

answer 5
Yes, it's excellent at this! It's non-toxic and it's actually what professional pest control companies use. It also works against cockroaches (although not as well as against fleas) and it seems to be useless against bedbugs.

Natural roach, flea and ant killer. Only safe in very small quantities if ingested. Not very safe to breath. Avoid contact with skin because of skin irritation. Wash pets after exposure.

It is safe as long as it is not ingested, inhaled, or left on the skin for very long. Like many natural substances allergies may be possible.

I use it to deflea my yard, kill ants, clean my carpet and lightly in my rat cages for mites. But very lightly.

Yes, but don't bath them in it.
