This is the quietest clipper I've used. It's not loud, and the vibration is minimal.

I didn't think it was too noisy. I let my dog get used to it before I started cutting his fur. He was fine with it. He is usually a nervous dog with strangers. This is why I preferred to groom him myself rather than take him to a groomer. It turned out pretty well!

I didnt think so, I used it on my 3 lb poodle and 9 lb malti poo and they didn't seem to mind. Cuts very well, just make sure to comb thru hair/fur first very well to avoid snags.

It has 4 guides, 1,2,3,4 (1/8-1/2in). The guides are compatible with other Wahl Clippers (like the kind I cut my and my son's with) so you can use the longer guides (up to #8, or 1in) that are available.

Yes you can use these. I would cut at a slower speed so you don't load the blades. The slower the hand movement the better the blades cut.

We'll this blades are great never cut directly it will cut the skin but answering question at Sally they sell them and beauty supply's what makes cut the dog hair that is thicker I think is the power of the machine and if concern if need replacing you can file it your self by whering down the inner part of blades.
