It drives great in the grass, a little slower. Needs a bit of a push on hills. Not very good on gravel. The door does not open.

YES, BUT YOU SHOULD NOT INSTALL THE WHEELEE BARS IN THE REAR AS THEY WILL DRAG A LITTLE IN THE TALL GRASS AND SLOW THE CAR DOWN. ALSO, THE CAR HAS SO MUCH POWER, IT TENDS TO SPIN THE PLASTIC WHEELS ON PAVEMENT SO I ADDED 1" WIDE RUBBER BUNGE CORDS ENTIRLEY AROUND EACH WHEEL USING "GOOP GLUE" AND NOW THE CAR JUST GOES BETTER ON OR OFF ROAD.

I haven't seen it attempt any off road use. According to what I've seen though, I doubt that it would do well except on a fairly flat hard surface like pavement or well packed dirt.
The back door does not open; no doors open.

No the back door doesn't open, we bought this car and after our son riding it once and complaining he didn't like it we took it back to the store. Its much smaller than the picture portrays. Plus off road it's terrible because it locks up.
