I agree. I looked at these and they are very nice but they are definitly not the ones to get if you want to block out light. Awsome color though!

Don't get these if your priority is to block out sunlight. They are very sheer. These are the same color, and less sheer:

As far as I've been able to tell, they only come in the one width. When I ordered them I was not prompted to choose a desired width. They aren't very wide though, and it comes with 2 panels, so if you have a really narrow window, maybe you could just use one panel.
