We had the same question. After doing some research we concluded that the hand brake was only on the larger models. A notation on the manual would have been more helpful.

We vacationed in FL this September and it was also available in blue at their Wal-Mart locations. Since we have been back home in SC we have been unable to find any store here that carriers the blue bike and we have had no luck with it being available online.

Walmart does sell a 16 inch Moto Cross bike. Most stores carry the bike but I do not know if its carried online. The bike is pretty much the same style as this one but made by a different company. Still a excellence looking bike!

There is no real way to lower or higher the seat. The only thing that can be done is add more tension to the rear suspension spring and the seat won't lower as much when it is being ridden.
