Yes, there is a red delete button and just hit it and then hit the okay button and it's gone.

You can also delete the picture once downloaded to the computer

yes, you can, but the only thing is you can't erase them all at once only one at a time, so don't wait until 400 pictures

Question

Is there a problem with camera related to the batteries? Am I going to have to buy them constantly?

The one review said that they had to replace the vtech children's camera batteries in a very short span of time -- has anyone else had that problem and is it systemmatic of this camera? I hope not as I was planning on ordering one for my grandson's birthday? He will be five. I don't want something that uses up batteries needlessly? HELP!!!!

You might have to replace the batteries from the start because of people testing the product.......but so far no issues.

We've just had it a week though and it does have an auto shut off to save batteries.

answer 3
Yes, it does eat through the batteries rather quickly. You have to decide whether it's worth it or not, as my son loves this camera, and has used it off and on for appx. three years now. The picture quality of course doesn't compare to a grown up camera, but with the effects that can be added to the pictures you take, the video capability plus sound in a pretty durable little camera, buying a battery charger and some rechargeable batteries is a small price to pay for a gift they will LOVE. Plus they can upload their pictures to the computer to store and share.

It does not have optical zoom, just 2x digital zoom. Digital zoom is pretty much worthless since it decreases the resolution of the picture (it is the same as taking a regular zoom picture cropping it to half the size, then blowing it up to 2x the size).

It's built in. The USB cable (included) allows you to transfer them to the computer. I've only used it once so far because it holds 400 photos! You don't need to install a program either to upload the photos. They just go directly to your pictures file.

Look into the instruction manual and remove the photo card from its socket. Take it to a store that has the ability to "print digital photos here" and ask an associate there to help you insert the chip into their printing device; review and choose the ones you want to print and print them there. You pay for the ones you want, only. Walmart Electronics Dept. can help.

They are cartoonish images you can add to your photos. For instance, you can add a pair of glasses or a silly hat on the person in your photo, or add a border to decorate it.
