I'm 6' even and it fits me perfectly. I raised the seat about 5 inches and raised the handlebar stem about the same. Very comfortable upright seating position similar to the Electra Townie cruisers.

Also 26", not a 24". Should work for you if you raise the seat.

It is not a True 26" Frame. It is a 'Muscle Bike' Frame. If You don't want to spend a lot of Time and Money. Choose another Bike.
If you install Ape Hanger Bars, a Sissy Bar & Banana Seat. All of your weight will be on the rear Axel. It will also get you away from the Handle Bars. And, Behind the Crank. You, Will also need to add 1.75 Tires. To stop the Spokes from Fanning in & out. The Oversize Tires and Flimsy Wheels are whats causing this. And, The Clicking Noise that Everybodys Complaining about. Also, add a 20 T Cog. See My Review and Q&A's.

There is a weight chart attached to the bike at the time of purchase, it says up to 275lbs, but since you're only 17lbs over you should be fine, just check your tire pressure often.

The width of these tires are 2.175. The frame might be a little too narrow for the thick 3" flame tires, unfortunately.

Yes, the pedals are appx 3 inches forward of the seat post. Its similar to an Electra Townie. Not as much, but nice.

I got an avenir alloy seat post from Walmart that has a bit of a gooseneck and mounted it to the front part of the seat rails and that gave me another 4 inches of seat back clearance.

Rides just like a Townie 3i

Question

Do you recommend buying hand brakes? Is there anything I should change out parts wise like the seat or inner tube?

seat is not that bad, but it wouldnt hurt to add just a little more comfort. There's really no need for hand brakes other than convenience. Maybe add gears? The sprocket is kind of in the middle (small & large) and could be a little challenging on hills.

answer 2
I would install a Banana Seat & Sissy Bar. As, the Pedals are behind the Seat. And, the Seat is too close to the Handle Bars. I would recomend Ape-Hanger Bars. After all... This is a 'Comfort' Bike. No need to lay down on it. Being 'Uncomfortable'. Leave that to the Young'ins.

Only if you want to change out the back hub for a freewheel... otherwise, the coaster brake works fine.

Both the forks and the crossbar behind the seattube are drilled for side-pull caliper brakes and fenders.

The seat is a bit flimsy and makes a lot of noise, so a nicer one would be a good idea. The tubes are very thin, so you may want thicker tubes, or the self-sealing type.

The pedals are the type that fall apart easily, so the one-piece molded type would be better. 9/16 thread.

Otherwise, it's a great bike. A little more money put into better components and you would have an awesome cruiser. I put 15" rise ape hangers on mine.

answer 4
No need for hand brakes unless you're in a hilly area.

The seat is comfortable but I didn't care for the graphics. Its an inexpensive thing to change.

I haven't had any issues with my tubes yet.

Mine was a display model so already assembled in the store, and they did a good job. Everything tight and straight.

If yours is unassembled most likely you will need to install wheels, pedals, and maybe seat. Typical box bike stuff, no big deal.

If you get it shipped to your home, it does not come assembled. Your best bet to have it assembled is to either find it and buy it from a Walmart store OR to order it online and have it shipped to your nearest Walmart Store where they will assemble it for you before you pick it up. Both ways it's free, no assembly fees.

Buy it at walmart and it comes assembled. Otherwise assembly is pretty simple. Need to attach wheels, seat, handlebars, and pedals but it is simple provided you have some basic tools which they outline right on the box. Takes 15 - 30minutes depending on how handy you are.
