Question

Can this toy fit in a sedan?

After it has been assembled, can this toy fit in a regular sedan, like Honda Accord? In a trunk with backseat folded perhaps??

I only have Accord and I wonder if I can ever bring this toy to a nearby park...

I have a 4-door ford focus, and we had to cut out half the box and roll the windows down. Out of the box it was difficult to fit in my husband's tahoe. So probably not!

I have a 4 door saturn and it will not fit into my truck even with the seats down but you may have a little more room in your truck. The biggest issue is the "window" part of the car sticks up alot. You may be able to put it back end first and tie your trunk down. Hope this helps a little.

Question

can you choose which speed the car moves at? and does the child have access to change it themselves if you want to keep it at lower speed of 2.5

The drive motor is either on or off. There is a setscrew which locks the child out of the 5mph range. Unless the child is told of the screw at the base of the shifter and then knows how to remove it, I think that the child would be locked into the 2.5mph range. I think that if you would like to restrict to the lower speed after having your child try the higher speed that the setscrew could be easily reinserted; I have not yet removed my own setscrew.

answer 3
you can keep the lock-out pin in, which will limit the speed to 2.5 mph. if you take it out, the child can choose which speed by moving the "shifter" foward.

answer 4
yes you can choose the speeds but the gearshift doesnt "lock" in place causing it to be easy for the child to go into reverse or forward. The high speed is "locked out" with a screw that has to be removed before 5mph will work.

it goes 2.5mph forward and backwards and then can go 5mph forward. There is a screw lockout to prevent the 5mph if you choose. As for weight limit in my experience, my 70lb 8yr old can hardly fit in it anymore

Hi Tracy, to remove the simulated radio loosen the two screws under the dash. Remove the simulated radio from the dash and loosen the screw in the battery compartment door to change the three “AA” (LR6) alkaline batteries. You can find instructions for the vehicle here: http://fpfami.ly/0hQF.
