answer 1
Yes. It has a foot pedal. If you push the foot pedal, that is low gear. It goes about 2-3 mph. If you hold the foot pedal and twist the hand grip at the same time, it goes in high gear. That is approximately 5 mph.

Question

Country Use

We live in the country and have lots of grass, dirt, hills and rough gravel. Previous 4-wheelers we bought for our son just didn't cut it. He would get stuck every few feet. Just wanting to make sure this is the right one for us! Do these tires work well in this type of atmosphere? The previous plastic ones just didn't seem to have the grip.

These wheels are plactic but they do hold up pretty well to all types of terrain. It helps if the child weighs at least 40 lbs

No, it does not have a seatbelt. It is a quad that you ride on like a motorcycle. My son is 26 months old & rides it full speed on all kinds of terrain.

Hope you got the product and the answer you needed. However, if you did not I purchased this item over two years ago. It is not used as often as most children would use but it good quality. The battery last quite awhile which is great! It was a great buy for me. It is in such good condition still I plan to pass it on to someone elses child when my boys fully outgrow it, so if you got it for your child it is a good investment. It will bring days and years of play for your little one. Take care.

Depending on the terrain, it can last from a few hours up to 8. If not in use, the battery will last for weeks
