Question
Anyone care to divulge the secret to attaching the computer to the front post?
Everything went together simply enough when building this bike... however, the opening on the plastic casing to the computer that is supposed to attach to the front post is the same size as the post... so it looks as though I'll either have to bend the top of the post a bit, or somehow shave a little of the plastic from the opening to make it a bit wider. Anyone else run into a problem with this?

I had problems with it too turns out it just slid on there. I was trying too hard to get it on and when i stopped it just popped on

The computer is a very tight fit to the bar. I had to twist mine back and forth to get it on to the pole. It's a VERY tight fit, but should work unless yours is defective.

what is the secret to attaching the lower tension cable #23 to the upper tension #20? I cannot do it. The cable doesn't seem long enough.

loosen the tensioning knob and pull the cable. You should be able to get then.

I thought the same thing when i got mine, i think i played with for a couple hours before I figured it out! I'm going to attach a diagram and try to explain it!
If you hold on to the part i've colored blue and yank REALLY hard on the piece that i've colored red it will move!! when you let go it will go back down but it should now move a little easier so when you've got the upper cable hooked on the red piece and you pull up you should be able to get it hooked!! I hope this helps, as i see many many people saying they had problems with this but none of them said how they got it!

What is the weight limit for this bike? I weigh 334 pounds and was wondering if this bike was strong enough to uphold me.
Also, how easy was this machine to be put together?

It took me 2 hours to put together, but I did it by myself and the box was able to fit into the trunk of my chevy malibu.

How good are the resistance levels on this bike ?
I work out on exercise bikes at the gym quite often. But I need an exercise bike at home for those days that I am unable to make it to the gym.
I was wondering if the resistance levels on this bike are challenging enough for an athlete to get a good work out ? I wanted to try it out before buying it but it isn't available at the store for a demo.
Considering most of the reviews are from people aged 50 and above,I skeptical if the resistance levels on this bike are challenging enough for someone young and more fit.
Also the fact that this bike is available this cheap makes me believe it's too good to be true. Would this bike be a good investment or would a more expensive bike be preferred for a better workout ?

Don't buy it. Invest in something a little more expensive or if you do not have that much to spend get a Mountain Bike. Its not designed for an Adult...Thats just my opinion. I gave it a 1star. Wal-Mart sales a Golds Gym stationary bike for around $220.00-260.00 I totally recommend getting that.

The instructions make it sound harder than it is. I built the bike alone. You have to pull at the cable and I was afraid to force anything for fear of breaking it. I also leaned the bike against the couch for support.

The seat is wider than a ten speed bike, about the size and comfort of my beach cruiser. After a week of use, I don't even notice the seat anymore. It can be adjusted pretty easily. My son-in-law is 6'3" and he had it adjusted for his height, I'm 5'3" and it's now adjusted to my height. It's adjusted by pulling out a pin and pulling the seat higher or pushing it lower.
