Is there a charging system available to charge battery when pedaling?

No. That would, kind of, defeat the purpose of the bike, which is to make pedaling easier. Besides the extra cost, and weight, of the necessary components, you would have to pedal twice as hard as a normal bicycle, for 2 hours, to produce 2 cents worth of electricity!

I've researched this quite a bit and haven't found anything MADE for this bike. I'm sure an expert can work it out, either on braking, coasting or solar, although these options all add weight.

I'm 5'6" on a good day and it was comfortable enough. I weigh 150 lbs and got 20 miles on a charge.

A minimum of 24v, or 2 - 12v panels, rigged in series, would be necessary.

Yes. One battery and one charger. The bike can use two batteries. One on the left of the rear rack and another one on the right of the rear rack.

Sorry, I can't find the dimension of the package, but the front wheel and the handle bar are separate in the package to reduce the volumn of the box.

Yes..!
The 2 "SLA" (Sealed Lead Acid ) 12 volt, 10AH batteries in the baterry pack are sealed.
The 2 X 12 volt, 10AH/20HR, batteries are in series to put out 24 volts @ 20ah.
