no on the wireless.all u need to hook it up to your pc is a usb port cord.the usb port cord doesn't come with the printer.yes, it comes with ink.

We are able to print wirelessly using our laptop. There might be a little setup to get it to work but we've printed several pictures using it and it works well. It did come with ink.

No; this is a standard printer that uses a USB cable. If you want wireless, check out the X4650 from Lexmark. You would also need a wireless router. You then attach your computer to the printer with a cable to load it on the wireless network. Once this is done, any computer using your network (and loading the driver) can use your printer from anywhere you get a network signal.

No; the X2670 uses an "L" shaped paper path. Paper is loaded standing at the top of the printer, passes through the print head, and then turns to come out the front.

If the color cartridge is low or out of ink, will this printer still function printing in Black?

Some printers, as the stupid Epson I now have, will not print in Black if the Color cartridges are low. I do not want to invest in another printer that steals money because of the cost and frequency of having to buy ink. I just want to find a simple, ink-efficient printer that will do a decent job of printing.

I think it will work only to make photo copies and pushing the black ink button on the copy machine function. If you are printing stuff off your computer and you run out of color ink it will soon stop printing on its own. You can operate this printer with only a color cart. but it is best to use the color and the black. Two cartridges are needed #14 and #15 for this printer.

When you access the Lexmark driver, you can change it to print only in B&W and not color, and that will keep it from accessing the color cartridge.

I have a Dell netbook and all I needed was the usb cord, so I ordered that as a free accessory with my printer. The only thing is that netbooks don't have an internal drive, so I had to buy an external one. Before I did that though, I went to a website to download a free application for scanning and saving a document as a PDF. The printer comes with the software but if you don't have a cd-rom, you have to do the download.
