No, it's all solid. Although it does sit a little crooked so it might appear that it bends over, lol.

answer 9
No, there is a lamp that is sold seprety that youd have to purchase if you wanted the bendable neck on the lamp. You could contact mainstays to see if theres an attachment you could purchase, but itd probably be easier to just buy the lamp at the store that already has what your looking for.

No it does not, and you wouldn't want that feature in this time of lamp anyway. There are others with flexible tops--buy this one just as it is, you won't be dissatisfied.

They thread together. Be carefull they can cross thread easily. If you get any resistance before the tubes butt together, stop, unthread and put the coupling in straight and try again.

Question

Where can i buy the 150 Watt Bulbs?

asked 2 years, 2 months ago
By

answer 1
It takes "UP TO" 150 Watt bulbs and those are generally 3-way bulbs so one twist, is low light, second twist is medium brightness, and 3rd twist of the switch is bright. If Walmart doesn't carry the 150 watt bulbs then a local big box home improvement store may carry them.

I ued the GE soft white 3-way bulb for it and it works great. It's a 50/100/150 watt but the lamp is a 150 watt lamp if you wanted to just get a single light-bulb.

I use an LED bulb so yes you can use a CFL since the heat produced is less than an incandescent (regular) bulb. There is enough air circulation for both.

Yes you can but it burns through them quicker, its best to get a 3-way bulb since the lamp is a 3-way lamp but a lower wattage does work.

By unscrewing the sections and carefully pulling the cord thru.

answer 3
Start at the top and make sure light is off and unplugged. Remove bulb, then remove circular piece that is at the base of the bulb - just unscrew it. That piece is what holds the shade in place. After that, just keep unscrewing the pieces. You can not remove the remove the lamp wire from the base unless you completely undo the wiring, which I do not recommend. Hope that helps.
