It is supposed to be, but the waterproof feature messes up the camera in my opinion. My oldest daughter recieved the camera before it was waterproof and it was a great camera. My youngest got the newer model and we had to return it 6 times before just asking for a refund. Fisher Price stated that it was a defect and the battery flap doesn't completly close, which activates the water proof feature and makes the camera turn off. It was very frustrating. We ended up buying a V Tech and were very happy with it. Picture quality was a little better too.

Ours has an SD card, so you could use the SD card and print the pictures from that.

I had purchased the Fisher Price camera for my little girl. It is the style that Fisher Price had before this newer one, and it DOES have auto shut off. Hope this helped! :)
