Yes, but make sure you change 100% of the water at LEAST every 4 days. This tank is really not optimal for any fish to be in permanently--it's so small the fish become bored, obese, and often die from ammonia poisoning. Please keep this in mind. Also, bettas are tropical fish that NEED heaters, a heater is not optional. They will survive without but will not thrive.

YES BECAUSE THE GLOW FISH ARE VERY VERY EXPENSIVE AND THE BETA FISH WITH THE BLUE LIGHT LOOK AWSOME AND BY THE WAY GET A MALE RED OR BLUE ONE THE LOOK AWSOME IN MINE.

Mine didn't come with a plant, all I got was the black background for on the outside of the tank and the light, aquarium, and cover and filter.... All the decorations I had to purchase for it.. .. Hope that helps

for ever half inch of fish u need gallon of water.. So if they are about half inch I would put about 2-3.

according to published fish experts, glowfish are meant to thrive in schools of six - there's room and filtration in this aquarium for that number. make sure to change the filters as directed. you can also add a miniature algae and debris eater fish or shrimp or snail if desired to help out.

Yes you need one . And no does not come with one. Make sure u get the right size one for the 1.5 gallon aqum. I got one at walmart for around 14.00

Please buy a heater for your tropical fish. I suggest an adjustable one like the 25watt hydor theo. Keep in mind that this tank is very small, and most fish in such small "tanks" become bored, obese, and often die from ammonia poisoning. Please consider a larger tank with a filter.

Rule of thumb 1gallon of water for every half inch of fish..
Therefore If guppies are around one inch then would not put but 1-2 in this aqum.

Yes you can. I have fancy guppies in there with 2 females and 1 male. However if u dont want them to breed you can just put in up to 6 male guppies. My friend has mollies in hers and they love the space. The light really showes them off since they are silver.

Glo-fish are a genetically altered version of danio rerio, AKA zebra danios. They can live at temperatures around 76 degrees, but if your house is cold, I suggest getting an adjustable heater such as the 24 watt hydor theo and keeping it low. Also bear in mind that it these fish are very energetic swimmers, and swim in schools of thousands in the wild. It is cruel to confine them in such a small space without enough companions. Consider a larger tank in the future.

It came with the small 1-5 gallon filter all U need to buy with it is the small filters they fit right in to it put tube in back of the filter and other end in the pump and plug in. Thats it.. I also purchased a heater just put in water and plug it in.. Owe yea change the filter about every 2-3 weeks and your set.. When you get filter make sure it is for this size aqum..

I would advise against using this for glowfish! If anything is put in this tank, let it be an African dwarf frog or some shrimp! Nothing else can live in a tank this small.
