The hand mixer is not noisy. I haven't used th whisk or the dough hook yet so I can't comment on that.

I made Christmas cookies and the machine did fine. Christmas cookie dough is more firmer than pizza dough.

The chrome will not fall off under normal operation. Although chrome fall off under misoperation, it will do no harm since this part has been Rohs approval;

seeking parts for A GE 225 watt hand mixer, model #106651

which has the WalMart name on bottom along with Model # and GE Logo, so must have originally been purchased at Walmart. Need new replace beaters that came with mixer new.
mixer on you web site is similiar but a 300 watt.
have no ideal year purchased, still runs but beaters wearting out, some missing.
