This bike does not have a shifter or a brake set. One gear means its good for flat land (i.e. beach cruiser) but difficult for hills. To brake, simply push the pedals backwards.

Simple, old fashioned, nice.

Depends on your wal-mart. I called and asked, and they assembled it for me for free. This is usually the case, so it's worth a call to the store to find out.
answered 3 years, 9 months ago
By

answer 8
I belive it can be pre assembled by wal-mart. But to be honest it comes mostly assembled. All you have to attach is the front fender, front wheel, seat post (seat is already on it, and handle bar post (handle bar already attached). You do not know if the person assembling it is competent and if you do it yourself you would be pleased and feel confident riding it. My only real caution is the handle bar post attaches with a metric allen wrench and it is not included.

It only comes assembled if you buy it at a WalMart store, but not online. The assembly was VERY quick and easy though. It comes about 85% assembled, and took me about 25 minutes. Just make sure you have the right size allen wrench, a phillips head screwdriver, and a socket wrench (or pliers if you absolutely have to use them).

answer 6
my guess is no, the seat will most likely raise eough for you But the handlebars won't. You could turn the handle bars so they are almost pointing straight up which I've seen taller riders do BUT I wouldn't be comfortable with that. You could also purchase a longer handlebar neck from a bike shop which would allow you to raise the handle bars enough and keep them in a comfortable position.

answer 7
I'm 6'2" and the seat can be raised or lowered simply without any tools. I have no problems. However, if your legs are long, I'd go to a store that has the 26" in stock and swing a leg over to give it a fit.

I am 5'9" and I fit the bike comfortably. If I was 2 or 3 inches taller I wouldn't. My wife is 5'4" and it's perfect for her. I'd say that anyone much taller than me would need a bigger bike.
