What is the height of the actual water level

The actual height of the water level is totally dependant on the amount of water one puts in the pool. To determine the actual height of the water level in your particular pool you will need to measure from the ground level of the pool to the point of the surface of the water. (This measurement may vary slightly from point to point depending on how level the pool is)

THE PUMP IS DESIGNED TO BE ELEMENT PROOF. NO NEED TO COVER IT.

It is not neccessary to cover the filter/pump on rainy days. We have not had any problems with our pump on this pool or on our other Intex pool (we had the other pool up for 4 yrs and opted for a larger pool this yr).

Yess, a small basket skimmer that hangs on the side of your pool. It will do a pretty fair job.

VINYL. THE POOL CAME WITH A PATCH KIT. YOU WILL HAVE TO DRAIN THE WATER AND JUST FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS AS FAR AS REPAIRING THE WHOLE. IT'S VERY EASY. JUST LIKE PATCHING AN INNER TUBE IN A BIKE TIRE. KIT COMES WITH GLUE, PATCH ETC.

The liner is really thick, but dogs have sharp nails. I would be afraid to let a dog jump up on it.

You can leave it up as long as you drain the water below the intake, take all the hoses off and store the pump and hoses somewhere they won't freeze. You also have to add some "pool closing" chemicals to the water. Check with your local pool company they'll let you know what type to get. =)

We took our pool down, however we left it outside on the ground because it was just too large to get rolled back up and put away...we just put ours back up and the weather had done no damage to it! So at the end of summer we wont be taking it down this year, but will buy a cover to put on it! Hope this helps!

The pump that comes with the pool is unsalted, using it with salt could increase its pressure causing it to have a heart attack and die.

A 2500 gal filter has 2 1/2 horse power. Each horse can pull 1000 gal of water per hr. That is unless you have Shetlands which can only pull about 750 gal per hr.
