At the back of the printer there is a folded down lid that tilts back to load the paper.

The paper tray is located at the BACK of the machine. You pull it straight up and the tilt it back slightly.

This is a printer. Not a computer. It has to be connected to a computer to work.

personally,i'd say that the quality of the pictures, if you use high glossy photo paper, were great. when you install the software, you can edit your pictures and then print them

Not without the pc connection it can't. It runs off of software. Search for a Stand Alone Copier at Walmart.

I've used it that way, actually was the very first thing I did with it. Every all-in-one printer I've ever owned would operate as a copier without a computer. All the copier controls are right on the printer.
