The Virgin Mobile Broadband to go can be used on several computers but not at the same time. If you want to use it with more than one computer at the same time you will have to purchase at Walmart the MiFi 2200 which can be used with up to 5 computers.

1) To find out about connecting to multiple computers, Google "internet connection sharing" and how to enable it. That will allow one computer, hooked to the net, to act as a portal for the other computers.

2) 3g is relatively slow compared to a wired connection. If you have three people just checking text emails there probably won't be a problem. If all of you are trying to watch YouTube videos there's going to be a lot of stuttering.

It's only meant to work with one computer at a time. You can use a wireless router that uses a USB modem and create a wireless network. Cradelpoint Technologies CTR350 works with most any 3G wireless modem and can be found on eBay for $45 or so. I own 2 and they work great.

Yes. I did read tho, that if you used a netbook that was less than 12" that it shouldn't be used. I did a workaround on that one by using a hub with it which made it at least 12". I suppose it has to do with the radio waves or radiation. Not sure. But that is what I do for my 10" netbook.

No credits included. You have to buy seperate. The cards are not in my Walmart stores. I buy a gift card at the store and order the modem's cards online. The "card"/pin number is sent to your email - this may take a few hours. You may want to get a free email like hotmail/live/yahoo/ymail etc. so you will have a consistent email address for you to receive your info.

Although I'm no iPad expert, I believe on the different models you get either Wi-Fi OR a 3G capability. If you already have a wireless capable Internet modem at home or are near a hot spot, the Wi-Fi model should be able to connect to them. If you have a 3G model (its like a miniature cell phone) you should be able to connect directly to the Internet once you establish a broadband plan with one of the carriers, Verizon or AT&T, depending on which has the best service in your area. Hope that helps.

It works with anything really, with a usb port available. It takes you to Virgin Mobile website where you sign up. On mine, $50 buys 5 gigs, but at 3G speeds. It is very fast. I like the portability of it, not needing to pull over and search for a free signal. I recommend it, but only as a backup for traveling, using it constantly at home can get expensive. The 3G speeds here are outstanding!
