Question

How does the seat recline?

Does the stroller use a strap to reline the seat into any position you want or does it use one of those metal pre-measured increment where there are only like 3 different postions. I like the where you can just click the recliner into a position like my other stroller.

Seat reclines with a strap. I was reluctant at first (because I also like the quick metal bar adjustment) but it turns out it's still very quick to get it where you want (the belt easily slide, and stays, into position) so I quickly got over it.

Question

What's max age people using it for?

Also does the seat stay in the reclined position as my daughter sits up(when it's reclined as doesn't want to lie down!) and seat moves with her!
And at top of seat where her head is , is there any metal bar as current one has this and she's reached it with her head. Thanks.

A strap with a buckle.at the back of the seat, adjusts the recline. So, once you set it, you would have to tighten up again for it to go back to upright. There is no metal bar at the top....just fabric. If your daughter is over 41 inches tall, her head may come past the top of the stroller seat.

answer 4
There is no metal bar, so there should be no worries of her hitting her head. As for the seat moving with her... if she has the shoulder harness on, the seat will move with her. If you remove the shoulder harness and just use the lap belt, the seat will stay reclined.

My son is just 8 months old,but this seems to be a stroller that we will use for a long time. As far as the seat, you can change it to a sit up position as well as reclined. There is NO metal bar on top of their head which is why I love the stroller more.

I would honestly say it depends on the weight and height of the child, but i personaly think until around 2 or 3years old. and Yes the seat does adjust for the child to sit up in the back part of the stroller theres a little plastic adjustment piece and is very sturdy.

My LO is 10 months old and she reaches forward to grab things from the tray/cup holder. In the most upright position she is able to view things ahead of her. She can move her legs freely and also gets a good view of her surroundings in all positions. But I do agree the try is a little high.

Yes, and to be honest the snack bar is actually one of my favorite parts about the stroller because you can just take one side out and put the baby in and out without taking the whole bar off. It has a ball joint on each side so you can unclip from either side and take baby out or just let it hang to the side so you dont have to detach it from the stroller. It's actually nice! :-)

Yes, the front snack tray of the Contours Lite stroller can be easily removed. To rotate or remove the front tray, press in on the orange release button located near the side housing and pull up on the tray. Repeat this on the other side to completely remove the tray. More information on this, including a detailed image, can be found on page 9 of the instruction manual. Question

Is it truely lightweight? I encountered some strollers that claim to be that but in the end fall short.

I'm a petite woman and I need to be able to pick something up in one hand and unfold while holding my 10 month old in the other. Is this possible with this stroller? :)

I am 5'5" and in my mid 50s. I use this stroller on a weekly basis for my grandson who is now a toddler. Stroller easily unfolds with one hand, and steers very easily one handed too! I do need both hands to fold stroller but I put my grandson in his carseat 1st, then fold stroller and put it up in the back of our large sized suv. Lifting stroller that high is a breeze, weight of stroller is no problem even for this ol' gal! When grandson was an infant I did manage to fold it while holding him but it was a juggling act and I found it just much easier to put him in his carseat then fold. If you are needing to fold quickly to board a bus it might be a bit difficult, but definitely unfolds smoothly with one hand.

According what you describe, don't buy this stroller. You will need 2 hands to fold it and carry it in and out your car. Although it's not heavy, just the poor design with the folding part that make the main problem. It pushes and steers well though.

I think so! I'm barely 5' 3" and have no problem unfolding it with one hand... Our youngest is our fourth child, so I've had some practice doing things all at once... but I haven't had any difficulties yet. It may be harder to fold with one hand; it takes two to push the folding latches on either side.

Yes! It is definitely lightweight. I think you could unfold it with one hand, but I'm not sure about folding it up. I havn't tried holding my baby while folding it, yet. :) I have been very happy with the weight of it and how easily and smoothly it pushes. You can definitely push and manuver it with one hand.

I think a 2 month old might be a little small. I purchased this for my 6 month old. I would say this stroller is more for when the child can hold it's head up on their own. I probably wouldn't go lower than 4 or 5 months old.

Yes, I think once they are about 3-4 months old this would be good for them. I started my daughter at 4 months, but my 2 1/2 year old also still fits well in this stroller. There's no headrest or contouring for a new baby, but once they get about 4 months, they are big enough they don't need all that.

I would say that you could make it work, but I would recommend some type of padding for the back of the stroller, and a soft head support to keep your little ones head from rolling and possibly hitting the side of the stroller bars. Also, maybe try to check this stroller out in person to see what you think of it. I ordered it from Walmart online, but I went to my local Sears store to look at because I wanted to see it in person, and they did not have it in my local Walmart store. Good luck.

I have had my stroller since my daughter was about 9 months. We bought this stroller bc our jogging travel system stroller was too bulky for shopping, esp at small stores. She is now 2yrs and still has plenty of room. I don't think I'll need to get another stroller for her unless I become one those moms who allow their 6yr old to still be pushed around (smile), if I do change my mind, that would be the only reason I would have to buy another one. Hope that helps! :)
