You can get this assembly from the MFR, Google Intek pools and look for replacement parts and you will find what you need. You can also call the MFR and order it by phone. They usually ship within a few days to a week. Shipping tends to be a little expensive with these guys, but it is the only place I know who has the parts. Hope this helps.

Did you use chlorine? The filter doesn't sanitize the water. Also, algacide is very important to use every week and after every rain.

i made a giant skimmer out of thick one inch pvc and elbows. and used sheer curtain material, I made the skimmer about aprox four feet by four feet square, (the span of both your arms outstretched.) used four pvc elbows. then cut the sheer curtain material a little bigger then the squar, and sewed up the sides, leaving pockets for the long pieces of pvc to slide into. then all you do is glue up the elbows while snapping the thing together. the material will snap, kinda tight and you can drag this square device thru the water, going round in a circle, hold it out from your body, after the water is moving around in a circle you can stop while holding your skimer out from you and it will skim ALL the bugs and debree out. it works great and makes matience a snap.
